Today marks the first week in May. #ASCO25 is coming up soon!
During ASCO, we'll see hundreds of social media posts about brands. Each post generates lots of likes, reposts and views. Together, this means thousands of opportunities to engage with your targets.
Here's an example from Dr. Aakash Desai. Look at the number of views! 🔥
You can use social media posts about your brand to trigger NPP journeys. This approach is popular because you can reach a large audience:
HCPs who engaged with the original post, and
HCPs who follow the original poster
Why? Because followers have seen the HCP's original post or they agree with the HCP's perspective. 🙂
"Your customers are on social media. Meet them where they are. Use social media posts to trigger NPP journeys that feel timely and relevant for your HCPs." – senior director of omnichannel marketing, Novartis
You can also take this approach for posts about a competitive brand. 👍
During a conference, HCPs are thinking about potential practice changes. After the conference, use social media as a trigger to engage with your HCPs.
